Zovo Page Numbers
Page numbers, Bates numbers and watermarks on a PDF.
Zovo Page Numbers adds page numbers such as Page 3 of 12 to a PDF, at one of six positions, with a start number and pages to skip such as a cover page. It also adds Bates numbers with a prefix and zero padding, plus a CSV log of page to Bates number, and text watermarks such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL with your opacity and angle. Rotated and cropped pages get the text upright inside the visible area. Before you download it, the new PDF is read again: the stamp text and place are checked on each stamped page, and a second PDF reader checks all pages of files up to 300 pages, or a 300-page sample of larger files.

- Six positions, start number, pages to skip, font size and margin
- Bates numbers with prefix, suffix and zero padding, plus a CSV log
- Text watermark with opacity, angle and page ranges
- Upright text inside the visible area on rotated and cropped pages
- Each stamp is checked again in the new file, with a second PDF reader on up to 300 pages

Limitations
- Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs are refused: save a copy without the password first
- The standard PDF font draws Latin letters only: other scripts and emoji are refused
- Up to 2,000 pages and 20 MB per PDF (the stamped copy must fit the 20 MB download limit)
- Stamps are drawn on top of the page; they do not move existing content out of the way
